We are seeking a dynamic, innovative scholar who will contribute to the department\u2019s mission of excellence in research, teaching, and service, with a particular focus on areas such as <strong>Indigenous knowledge and culture<\/strong>, <strong>Indigenous education<\/strong>, and <strong>Indigenous teacher training<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Assist the \u2018Indigenous Research and Development Center\u2019 and the \u2018College of Teacher Education\u2019 in offering Indigenous Education and Culture courses. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Promote indigenous education initiatives across the university.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Implement indigenous education-related projects of the university.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Support the operation of the university\u2019s \u2018Indigenous Research and Development Center\u2019.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Provide guidance and mentorship for indigenous teacher trainees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Plan and execute the university\u2019s \u2018Secondary Indigenous Teacher Training Programs\u2019.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Ph.D. in Geography, Indigenous Studies, or a related field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Experience and ability to teach courses in Indigenous Education and Culture courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Practical experience in \u2018Indigenous education and administration\u2019 and \u2018Indigenous teacher training\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6b548d9a561b7b29b344ed00bc83411d\">Interested applicants should submit the following materials by <strong>21 April, 2025 (Monday)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A copy of PhD certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of identity card or passport.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A current curriculum vitae (CV) (including a list of published works).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PhD thesis and copies of selected publications in the last five years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Syllabi for potential courses to be taught (3 courses, each within 500 words in either Chinese or English) and,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2-3 reference letters.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit applications by postal mail and specify the designated courses you can teach on the envelop to Ms. Mei-hsuan Li, Department of Geography, National Taiwan Normal University, #162 He-ping East Road Section 1, Taipei City, 10610 TAIWAN.
