Application Procedure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Credit transfer applications consist of <strong>online application and paper-based review<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Students Eligible to Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following students may apply for credit transfer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Transfer students, students who have retaken the entrance examination, or students who have been admitted to the University again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who, during their bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree studies, took courses offered by master\u2019s or doctoral programs and received a grade of <strong>B- (70 or above on a 100-point scale)<\/strong>, provided that these credits have not been counted toward their graduation requirements and supporting documentation is available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who have completed credits in advance as required by relevant regulations, or who meet the requirements for exemption from basic courses applicable to undergraduate students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who are eligible to enroll in a <strong>teacher education program<\/strong> and wish to apply for credit transfer for professional education courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Application Period<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>August 24 (Mon.) to September 11 (Fri.), 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please make sure to submit the required application documents to the <strong>Curriculum and Graduate Education Division of the Office of Academic Affairs \/ Gongguan Academic Affairs Section<\/strong> before the deadline. <strong>Late applications will not be accepted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students may check the status of their applications, print the review results, and download scanned documents through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>University Administrative Portal \u2192 Academic Affairs Information System \u2192 Grade-Related Services \u2192 Credit Transfer Application Records<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Credit Transfer for Courses Offered by the Department of Geography<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students applying to transfer credits for <strong>courses offered by the Department of Geography<\/strong> must provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An <strong>original transcript<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>course syllabus<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application must first be reviewed and signed by the <strong>instructor of the relevant course<\/strong>, and then submitted to the <strong>Department Office<\/strong> for further review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Relevant Regulations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For detailed regulations regarding credit transfer, please refer to the website of the Office of Academic Affairs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/reurl.cc\/dDjGM2?utm_source=chatgpt.com\">Regulations on Credit Transfer<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Credit Transfer \/ Recognition of Credits from Cross-Department or Cross-University Courses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that <strong>undergraduate and graduate students who take courses from other departments or universities during their enrollment at NTNU follow a different application procedure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u3010Undergraduate Students\u3011<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Undergraduate students in the Department of Geography who wish to have credits earned from <strong>cross-department or cross-university courses<\/strong> transferred and recognized as <strong>professional credits in the Department of Geography<\/strong> should download the:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cApplication Form for Credit Transfer of Cross-Department\/Cross-University Elective Courses as Departmental Professional Credits (Undergraduate Students)\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application must include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An original transcript<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The course syllabus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application should first be reviewed and signed by the <strong>instructor of the relevant course in the Department of Geography<\/strong>, and then submitted to the <strong>Department Office<\/strong> for review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Applications for this type of credit transfer may be submitted at any time during the semester.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u3010Master\u2019s and Doctoral Students\u3011<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graduate students in the Department of Geography who wish to have <strong>cross-department or cross-university elective courses recognized toward their degree requirements<\/strong> should download the:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cApplication Form for Recognition of Cross-Department\/Cross-University Elective Credits (Graduate Students)\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application must include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An original transcript<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The course syllabus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application should first be reviewed and signed by the <strong>thesis advisor<\/strong>, and then submitted to the <strong>Department Office<\/strong> for review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> The course applied for recognition should be related to the student\u2019s thesis research topic and should be a course <strong>not offered by the Department of Geography<\/strong>. Students are advised to discuss course selection with their academic advisor before registering for courses each semester and then complete the registration process accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Applications for this type of credit recognition may be submitted at any time during the semester.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
