I. Background
In gratitude for the education and support received from her alma mater and department, Ms. Hsu Mei-Yun established this financial aid scholarship to assist students in the Department of Geography who come from financially disadvantaged families, enabling them to complete their studies and become productive members of society.
II. Number of Recipients
Two undergraduate students.
III. Award Amount
Each recipient will receive a scholarship of NT$10,000.
IV. Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be currently enrolled students in the Department of Geography.
- Applicants must come from a financially disadvantaged family and provide relevant supporting documentation.
- Applicants must have achieved an average academic score of 70 or above (GPA 2.44 or above) in the previous semester and received a conduct grade of A or above. First-year students newly admitted in the current academic year are exempt from submitting academic performance records.

Please apply through the University’s Scholarship Application System.
In the Scholarship Application System, please select:
“Donor-Sponsored Scholarships (Scholarship Management Committee)” → “Immediate Disbursement (Department/Graduate Institute Scholarships)” → “Ms. Hsu Mei-Yun Financial Aid Scholarship.”
【Application Deadline】
Applications are accepted from now until September 30, 2026 (Wednesday). Late applications will not be accepted.
【Required Documents】
- Academic transcript for the previous semester
(First-year students newly admitted in the current academic year are exempt from submitting academic performance records. The academic record will be automatically imported by the scholarship system.) - An autobiographical statement briefly describing the applicant’s personal and family circumstances.
- Proof of financial hardship, such as a certificate of low-income or middle-to-low-income household status, or a certificate issued by the neighborhood chief.
- A copy of the applicant’s bank/postal savings passbook.
(A postal savings account is preferred, as other banks may charge transaction fees.) - Other supporting documents, if applicable.
