The Journal of Geographical Research (JGR) publishes bi-annually (May and November) and receives submissions all year around. The editor of the Journal welcomes paper articles concerning empirical and theoretical developments of all sorts in physical and human geography. Articles are accepted for consideration of publication on the understanding that they are not submitted or published elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce all maps, diagrams, tables, and photos before publication of their papers.
