2022-08-01【Recruitment】Tenure Track Positions in Department of Geography, National Taiwan Normal University

The Department of Geography at the National Taiwan Normal University invites applications for two tenure track positions at all levels of professorship. We seek outstanding candidates who can contribute to the Department’s teachings and research in one of the following or trans-discipline fields.

1) Physical Geography or Geospatial Information Science (must be able to teach either Geomorphology or Geographical Information System course).

2) Human Geography, Economic Geography, Cultural/Social Geography, Indigenous Geography, Environment and Land Planning, Regional Geography or Geography Education (must be able to teach either Economic Geography or Regional/World Geography course).

The appointment will be effective February 1, 2023 or August 1, 2023. The deadline for application is Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Each application should include a copy of their PhD certificate, a copy of their identity card or passport, curriculum vitae (including a list of published works), copies of works published in the last five years, syllabi for potential courses to be taught (3 courses, each within 500 words in either Chinese or English) and 2-3 reference letters.
