第29屆臺灣地理國際學術研討會與中華民國地理學會2025年年會將共同辦理聯合會議。兩個會議在台灣地理學界具有悠久歷史,也是國內、外地理學者與相關領域學者在台灣齊聚一堂的重要平台,本聯合會議主題基於當代資訊科技日新月異以及人本覺知之重要性日增,致使地理環境知識生產和問題解方越趨於彈性與繁複,也使地理環境知識生產的工具與媒介更形重要,故本會議主軸發展於此。

2025年的地理學聯合會將由國立臺灣師範大學地理學系主辦,提供國內外地理學者、專家、學生、政府機關、社會團體、相關從業人員一起探究地理、分享臺灣地理研究成果的知識饗宴,期以聯合會加乘能量、廣招地理學領域之外的跨領域學科,共同貢獻於從感官、感測、感應之環境知識生產與研討,以為開拓地理學與相關環境研究工作者分享多元的研究工具、擴展空間環境研究的視野、增進跨域協作的機會,以為島國韌性發展之本。

本研討會重視各式感官、感測與感應的地理學與環境相關研究之知識生產與成果分享與研討,以地理學與環境科學中的各式感官與感應科學:人體、科技及創新下的地理學發展作為主體,徵求論文廣泛多元,敬請不吝貢獻研究論文與成果,共襄盛舉。

研討會議子題包括(但不限於)如下:

音景、氣味、文化與景觀 人口、遷移與感官 感官、記憶與認同
地景與療癒 人文社會生態系統 生態系服務與環境韌性

本聯合研討會即日起開始徵稿,懇請踴躍投稿並出席交流,共創地理環境領域研究之花果與前沿研究之開啟。本研討會歡迎各地理學次領域相關的研究與其他人文社會、自然和技術相關研究成果參與發表,以為跨領域協與創新發展的前瞻與研究成果分享,以饗今日跨領域合作洪流下的學者與研究工作者。本研討會當盡最大努力,以利最適化地理環境的跨域協作對話與發展,也歡迎學者專家自組工作坊及論壇投稿。

本研討會將在 2025 年4月26-27日國立臺灣師範大學舉行。發表者請於2024年9月20日 (星期五) 前,至線上報名系統填妥表格,表格內容包含(所有)作者名字、擬發表文章之題目、摘要以及選填文章之主題類別,收到主辦單位回覆函即完成投稿手續,未收到回覆請來電確認。大會將於2024年9月30日通知論文摘要審查結果。為了完整周延會議電子手冊,容許作者於2024年12月31日前再次上傳論文摘要,論文摘要無變更者,不必再上傳。欲參加學生及青年專家學者優秀論文獎者,論文全文截稿日期為 2025年3月27日 (星期四)。學生以及年輕專家學者優秀論文獎,經推薦及審查後將給予獎勵,論文可選擇投稿刊登於「地理研究」或「中華民國地理學會會刊」期刊。此外,中華民國地理學會設置「團體論文獎」,由各團體會員薦送優秀論文一名,於大會頒發獎狀(相關規定請參閱中華民國地理學會「優秀團體論文獎」辦法」)。

Geographies of Senses: Human Senses, Monitoring Technology, and

Innovation for a Resilient Taiwan Environment

The International Geographical Conference of Taiwan (IGCT) and the Geographical Society of the Republic of China will jointly host the annual meeting for 2025. The two bodies’ conferences have a long history in the field of geography in Taiwan. Both are important platforms for domestic and foreign geographers and scholars to gather together in Taiwan. The theme of this joint conference is based on the rapid changes in contemporary information technology and the increasing significance of humanistic awareness, which jointly make geographical environment knowledge production and problem solutions more flexible and complex, and make the tools and media of geographical environment knowledge production more important. For such rationale, the main focus of this conference is developed.

The 2025 Geography joint meeting will be hosted by the Department of Geography at National Taiwan Normal University, to provide a knowledge feast for geographers, experts, students, government agencies, social groups, and related practitioners to explore geography and share Taiwan geography research results. We work for the joint meeting to recruit and intensify transdisciplinary development of geography from awareness of human senses, sensing, and induction, so as to open up the sharing of diverse knowledge among geographers and related environmental researchers for a transdisciplinary future.

This joint meeting aims to produce knowledge and share and discuss results of geography and environment-related research by making good use of human senses and varied sensing and monitoring technologies. The sub-topics of the meeting are broad and diverse. Please feel free to contribute research papers and results to participate in this exciting event.

This joint meeting is now soliciting papers. We sincerely invite you to submit papers and to exchange ideas and research for nurturing the field of geographical environment and to further open up cutting-edge research. This geography joint meeting also welcomes research related to various scientific subfields and other humanities, society, nature and technology-related research results. The local organizing committee will do its best to facilitate transdisciplinary and collaborative dialogue for developing sensing-related geographical and related research. Scholars and experts are also welcome to submit self-organized workshops and forums.

The joint meeting will be held at National Taiwan Normal University on April 26-27, 2025. Paper contributors please complete online registration forms before September 20, 2024 (Friday). Please fill in (all) author names, the title and abstract of the papers to be presented, and choose the topic category for your paper. The submission procedure will be completed once the organizer replies to your submission. If you do not receive a reply, please call us for confirmation. The LOC will notify you the results of the abstract review on September 30, 2024. In order to complete the electronic conference manual, authors are allowed to upload the abstract of their paper again before December 31, 2024. If the abstract of the paper has not been changed, there is no need to upload it again.

For those who wish to participate in the Outstanding Paper Award for Students and Young Experts and Scholars, and Outstanding Paper Award of Group Member, the deadline for submitting full papers is March 27, 2025 (Thursday).  The awardees will be invited to submit the awarded papers for publication in “Journal of Geographical Research” or “Annals of the Geographical Society of the ROC”.
