Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Human and Regional Geography

The Department of Geography at National Taiwan Normal University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Human and Regional Geography. We seek a dynamic, innovative scholar who will contribute to the department’s mission of excellence in research, teaching, and service in the field of Human and Regional Geography (including Agricultural and Food Sustainability, Region Geography, Geographies of Senses, and Food and Agricultural Education), and is capable of offering courses such as Geography of World, Geography of Europe, Agriculture and Food Sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Geography, Human and Regional Geography, or a related field.

Interested applicants should submit the following materials by 13 May, 2025 (Tuesday):

  1. A copy of PhD certificate.
  2. A copy of identity card or passport.
  3. A current curriculum vitae (CV) (including a list of published works).
  4. PhD thesis and copies of selected publications in the last five years.
  5. Syllabi for potential courses to be taught (3 courses, each within 500 words in either Chinese or English) and,
  6. 2-3 reference letters.
