Tenure Track Position in Department of Geography, National Taiwan Normal University
Position Available: August 1, 2026
The Department of Geography at National Taiwan Normal University invites applications for one tenure track position at all levels of professorship. We seek outstanding candidates who can contribute to the Department’s teaching and research in the following fields. Applicants must be native English speakers or possess near-native English proficiency. Candidates who are capable of teaching courses in more than one field and can teach EMI courses will be given priority. According to NTNU regulations, all courses taught by EMI teachers at NTNU must be conducted entirely in English.
- Human geography: economic geography, urban geography, political geography, and other related fields.
- Regional research: urban planning and landscape, land management and other related fields.
The appointment will be effective August 1, 2026. The application deadline is Thursday, November 6, 2025. Each application should include a copy of the PhD certificate, a copy of the identity card or passport, curriculum vitae (including a list of published works), copies of works published in the last five years, syllabi for potential courses to be taught (3 courses, each within 500 words in either Chinese or English), and 2-3 reference letters.
